Sai Baba’s Life Journey

What Is the Real Name of Shirdi Sai Baba?
There is still no official information about Sai Baba’s real name. Day by day claims are being made about Sai Baba’s real name but no one knows what his real name is as there is no solid evidence.
Around 1858, when Sai Baba came back to Shirdi, the village priest gave him the name Sai. In India, the name Baba is given to fathers as well as adults. But religiously Baba means God.
Saibaba’s Last Year and Death.
In August 1918, Saibaba’s body changed and he fell ill. Sai Baba developed a terrible fever and his reflexes began to deteriorate. Saheb’s devotees asked him to read the holy book. But as their replication worsened, they also stopped eating and drinking.
Even in such circumstances he would meet his devotees and preach to them. He tragically passed away on the holy festival of Vijayadashami i.e. 15 October 1918. Villagers and devotees brought his mortal remains for cremation at Buti Wada in Shirdi village and cremated him there.
